About the Riverside Camp
Where the adventure begins!
HISTORY
Our Riverside camp reopens its doors as pioneers in sustainability
Chile Nativo emerged from my deep admiration for Patagonia after exploring every corner of it during an extended journey as an adventure guide. One of my dreams was to create a warm, comfortable, and welcoming refuge for adventurous guests after an intense day in the mountains. Thus, Riverside Camp by Chile Nativo was born in 2016, a place with a breathtaking view of the Paine Massif, just 10 minutes from Torres del Paine National Park. However, after the pandemic and facing various challenges, in 2023, we moved to another part of the Serrano River to start one of our team’s most ambitious projects yet.
On this occasion, we seized the opportunity to innovate, maintaining our steadfast commitment to planet preservation. With a clear focus on sustainability, we have implemented circular economy principles, pioneering the use of recycled plastic (from the Magallanes Region) in Chilean construction, and adopted the “zero waste” philosophy in our kitchen. This marks the beginning of our ongoing innovation and long-term commitment, offering our visitors a unique experience in this untamed corner of the world.
